Udo Lindemann is a photographer and also a very good musician and drummer.
He started to explore photographyin the seventies and went from the street pictures to a more intimate work with female models. today he has a very wide collection of pictures , all done with an old fashion film camera. He dislikes the digital works from today, who lack life and strength, for his type of work.
Their is real approach of the character of the subject and the female body as object of desire, but also simply an personnal approach of the nude, without photoshop.
Udo knows how to catch the right expression and is patient in the process of working , he follows a models sometimes for many years and developped friendships with this paticular project.
His pictures are taken with sincerity and a real concern for the freedom of expression of the photographer, even if that may be disturbing or shocking.
He likes to go on the frontiers of tabou and bring difficult subjects out into the open, and discuss them freely.
